Introduction
GigaPep MP-90 is originated from fish skin of marine fishes (cod, salmon, etc.), of which collagen is extracted by specialized hydrolysis technology. It is an emerging environmental-friendly active ingredient for skin care. Fish collagen does not have the risks of foot-and mouth disease or mad cow disease such as pigs, cattle and sheep, or the concern of zoonotic diseases. Moreover, it contains higher content of Glycine, proline, hydroxyproline and other characteristic amino acids, which are important components of extracellular matrix of human skin.
Effect
- Form a fine film on the skin, achieving immediate skin tightening effect
- Activate and promote the growth of the fibroblast cells, slow down cell senescence and effectively reduce fine lines

Functional testing
Excellent activation effect for skin cells
The artificial skin module was placed in the petri dish, which was applied with 3% GigaPep MP-90 formula product. The test was conducted after 24-h incubation. The attached figure demonstrated the changes in cell number of the skin module applied with GigaPep MP-90 formula product within 72 h.
In in vitro cell experiment, GigaPep MP-90 exhibited the most significant effect on the proliferation of fibroblast cells.

A wound 0f 0.9 mm was made on the monolayer cells; the blank group and the group added thecommercial product A/ commercial product B/ GigaPep MP-90 after 30-hours incubation were tested with the microscopic observation of the cell proliferation and migration to evaluate the wound repairing effect.

Capability of defending against the harm caused by UV radiation
One of the harm induced by UV light is hyperepidermal formation (thickening)
Experimental conditions : UVB irradiation dose: 0.3mW/cm2
Experimental time : repetitive irradiation for 6 weeks (2 hour each time）
It is revealed from the test that GigaPep MP-90 plays a role of inhibiting excessive thickening of the epidermis, reducing the harm induced by the UV light to the skin.

Experimental method
Women with the age of 20-59 (10 people) are applied with body lotion containing 5% GigaPep MP-90. Detect and record : test the state before use, 4 weeks later and 8 weeks later.

8 weeks later, the wrinkle state of all subjects got improved, among which the largest depth was reduced by 24%, the average depth was reduced 17%, the largest breadth was reduced by 12% and quantity of wrinkles was reduced by 33%.
